Hi, and welcome to module 14.

This module is a little different to some of the recent editions, but I want to tell you that it is extremely valuable – in fact, priceless!

We’ve done a lot of work to look at how to generate new leads and some of the skills to help improve sales effectiveness.

What I want to focus on in this module is what happens when you meet new prospects or customers for the first time.

You’ve heard the expression “You only get one chance to make a first impression.”

What you might not know is that first impressions start to be formed in a fraction of a second. In fact, people form an opinion of you when they first meet you in just 7 seconds, based on 11 different criteria.

That’s right, 11 things in just 7 seconds.

  1. Would you like to know what they are?
  2. Would you like to make a favourable impression every time?

Well now you can, once you understand and employ them.
